Artisan Soap - Mayne Scent
This bar smells like walking through Mayne Islands' forests in the summer when the heat of the sun helps release the volatile oils and heady scents of our many trees - fir, cedar, and hemlock. Mingling, merging, coalescing & heavenly; completely soul filling and delightful.
The essential oil blend I chose is cedarwood, hemlock, fir (grand, Douglas & balsam), and rock rose, which are all plants and trees that grow on Mayne Island. Coloured with natural plant colourants of indigo, spirulina, green & BC marine clay with a swirl pattern to represent the ocean currents in the Salish sea.
The name Mayne Scent was a wee play on the words 'Heaven Sent. Because this place is heaven! This bath size bar is for when you are at home base for a wee bit.
