Artisan Soap - Maynely Mint Scrub
A fresh smelling soap made with Spearmint essential oil that will wake up your senses! Spearmint oil’s anti-inflammatory quality is known to cool red, swollen, and itching skin to help reduce the sensations of inflammation. For colour and texture, we have added ground spearmint leaves, gentle exfoliating Turkish (fine) ground coffee and spirulina powder (antioxidant, amino acids) which is beneficial for the skin and Canadian glacial marine clay for skin detox and cleansing. We have also added moisturizing and nourishing butters of Mango and Cocoa.
Mango Butter benefits: With the rich antioxidant content found in mango kernels, this butter is an excellent topical application for helping skin conditions and for moisturizing.
Cocoa Butter benefits: Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, which helps to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture.
Spearmint Essential Oil: Used therapeutically, it helps to cleanse the pores and tighten the skin, which may potentially promote the speedy healing of minor abrasions.
