What's in a name

How come we named it Nomads Essentials?

A little about ourselves

For 22 years Barbara McIntyre and Richard De Armond were active, adventure based tour guides. During this time we worked for other companies but eventually found the desire to operate our own company. We named the company Nomadic Routes Inc. We thrived in the outdoor based activity and gained a very strong connection to the natural environment. For Barbara the connection extended into a great curiosity of plants and their healing properties. The plants spoke to Barbara and her second calling gave rise to developing plant based soap. Selling soaps at farmers markets meant a name change to define the transformation.

The Clear and Obvious Choice

Picture
Nomads Essentials was the clear and obvious choice for the name change. It held true to Barbara and Richard's connection to a simpler nomadic lifestyle and Barbara's deepening connection to the essence of earth's flora and fauna. Barbara continues her education and discovery of plant properties to expand her product line and her love and respect for the healing power of nature.
